Join us for La Comida de Mamá, a special community collaboration inspired by motherhood, culture, and the memories created around food.

Maria and Julissa, hosts of The Girl with an Accent podcast, are stepping into the kitchen at Del Carmen Restaurant to prepare two of their children’s favorite meals—Pambazos by Maria and Tostadas de Tinga by Julissa.

As mothers, cooking is one of the ways we show love. We grew up with our own mothers preparing our favorite meals, and today, we carry that same love into the dishes we prepare for our children.

In collaboration with Del Carmen Restaurant in Worth and Marcela’s Bakery in Alsip, we invite you to come taste the stories, traditions, and love behind La Comida de Mamá.
