Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Car Wash Manager to lead our team and oversee daily operations at our Oak Lawn location. As a Car Wash Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high-quality standards, managing staff, and driving business growth. You will work closely with your team to meet operational goals and provide a positive experience for both employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Development: Provide leadership, direction, and training to staff to maintain a productive and positive work environment. Recognize and reward good performance to foster employee satisfaction.
• Operational Management: Oversee daily operations of the car wash facility, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Maintain site cleanliness, organization, and operational flow.
• Customer Service: Resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally. Use camera footage and direct communication to address concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Sales & Growth: Actively promote membership volume and sell car wash packages. Encourage and motivate the team to meet sales targets and grow the customer base.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the facility operates in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and safety protocols. Perform regular safety checks.
• Hiring: Identify, interview, hire, and evaluate employees as needed. Work with HR to ensure staffing needs are met.
• Maintenance Oversight: Monitor and perform maintenance tasks as necessary to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Scheduling & Payroll: Manage employee schedules, track attendance, and confirm the accuracy of timeclock punches for bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage car wash inventory to ensure necessary supplies are always available.
• Other Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of prior management experience, preferably in a service or retail environment. Experience in the car wash industry is a plus, but not required.
• Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to motivate a team and delegate tasks effectively.
• Customer Focus: Enjoy building relationships with customers and creating an outstanding customer experience.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods, perform repeated bending, kneeling, twisting, and overhead reaching. Able to lift between 5 to 30 pounds frequently.
• Work Schedule: Must be available to work various shifts, including weekends, evenings, and high-traffic periods.
